Voloshky Ukranian Dance Ensemble
Sunday, November 6 - Stafford Center, 6pm Society for Indo-American Arts (SIA) presents the Voloshky Ukrainian Dance Ensemble featuring twenty-five dancers and musicians to celebrate Ukrainian culture. The proceeds of the concert will be specifically donated for the treatment of children affected by the war in Ukraine.
The concert is a perfect example of how arts and humanitarian causes go hand in hand. Funds generated from the concert will be given to Ukrainian Federation of America (UFA), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, specifically earmarked for treatment of children. UFA has collected and shipped more than one hundred tons of medical supplies and equipment to Ukraine since the beginning of the war. The Voloshky Ukrainian Dance Ensemble is generously performing without fee. SIA is humbled by the opportunity to serve a humanitarian cause. The Consulate of Ukraine in Houston and the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Philadelphia are generously providing logistical support for the event. |
